Headed over to China for a couple rounds of golf.  Too bad it rained, only managed to play 9 holes. 

Wednesday August 6

Made up the last 9 holes @ 7am, too early. I even slipped and flinged one of my clubs into the pond.  Yes, I'm a pro.

Thursday August 7

Hit up ING w/ Mariane & her Cambridge camp leader friends.  Had to work some magic cuz' they weren't aloud in in their sandals.  Luckily we traded shoes a couple times and managed to sneak in.

Too hammered, blanked out the whole night.

Friday August 8

Night of Real Madrid vs. HK National Team.  HK did pretty well considering they played a world-class team full of International Superstars (e.g. Ronaldo, Beckham, Carlos, Figo, Zidane...etc.) 4-2.  Met up w/ Rich & friends @ the usual club Mod for drinks followed up for clubbin @ DIP downstairs afterwards.

Always a good time down there since the ppl are always attractive and ppl are always up for meeting new ppl.  I love DIP.  We headed over to some CIS girl's party afterwards for more drinks.  Bumped into Cora (dressed as some weirdo cuz' it was a costume party) & Wilson.  Ate w/ Wilson and friends (cuties) for some Tsui Wah afterwards (my favorite).

Saturday August 9

Had more family lunches & dinners followed by a UK Uni Party @ Key Club (exlcusive club again).  Full of FOBS, but lots of hotties still.  The average age was about 18-20, so I felt a bit old there obviously.  Met up w/ Wilsion's friends Carrie & Elaine again.  Fun girls, a bit tense at times though.  Wilson even picked up an 18 year old who went to my bro and my highschool, graduated a year below my bro.  At least she was cute, but still YOUNG!

Sunday August 10

Hit up the driving range again w/ family (enjoyable family time).  Improving my golfing skills, checking out China models scamming old, Rich China men money.

Met up w/ Helen & Mariane @ In-N-Out for a couple Hoegaardens.  Realized that Arsenal v. Man United was on.  A great game nevertheless played in the US.  Even met up w/ a couple of Helen's Western friends who also went to school in Vancouver and knows some of my UBC friends.  Small world eh? It only gets smaller!

Monday August 11

Hit up AMC, for a chillaxing work out followed by an even more comforting sauna and jacuzzi hour.  Met up w/ Helen & old FIS crew for some drinks @ In-N-Out for the second night in a row.  The Club-ING bartender working there even recognized us.  Played mad drinking games, got faded on ginormous Hoegaarden beers, chilled @ Peter's pad, blazed.  Great, random night. 

Tuesday August 12

Bro & I busted our asses into New Territories in the pouring rain to visit our grandparents cuz' we promised we'd stay overnight (like last year).  Especially since they love us so much.  We basically chilled @ their place all day, grocery shopping w/ them, watched TV, helped cooked dinner and even drank w/ them.  How often do you get wasted w/ your grandparents.  Actually, they weren't really drunk at all.  Albert & I were the ones hammered.  Damn, 30 something years really does build your whiskey tolerance.

Wednesday August 13

Just got back from Grandparent's pad from New Territories, decided to take Mom shopping for runners in HK's best sporting goods area in Mongkok.  Yes, a street full of sporting stores (approx. 50).  Crazy eh?  Indeed. 

Got home late, and passed out.  Weak sauce eh?  Totally.

Thursday August 14

Just great, ANOTHER family dinner @ AMC.  Luckily I love that good, over-priced food they got there.  Bounced over to Club-ING for my last Thursday night out.  Got my stamp and headed over to Wanchai for some pre-drinking w/ Charles, Peter & Wilson.  Played our favorite "Question" drinking game again.   Found out Charles just got engaged to his overly-possessive gf (Disappointing).

At least ING was alright (probably cuz' I was intoxicated).  Bumped into Virginia from LB, which is always a surprise.  Recognized tons of ppl I didn't know, but saw all the time, Ivy's hot 40-year old aunt hit on me, Peter & Wilson scamming local girls for free drinks & Ed working his cheesy pick-up lines.  Yes, indeed, quite the fun night tho.  I even saw Grace (only back for a week from Chicago) for 2 minutes, cuz' she couldn't get in, but wanted to at least make an appearance

Friday August 15

Met up w/ Wilson for lunch along w/ his family cuz' we're family friends.  Haven't done that in ages!  Was gonna work out, but played 15 games of ping pong w/ bro instead.  Damn exhausting. 

Met up w/ Alicia @ Mod w/ Rich & friends, chilled for a bit, then headed to Peter's to smoke up and drink some more cuz' he's got his own place in HK and leaving back to NY the next day.  Pretty nice chillin' @ someone's own pad, especially in HK.  I even passed out @ his place waking up @ 6am to bust my a$$ home cuz' my curfew's 6am.

Saturday August 16

Played a little golf today w/ family at the driving range.  Too bad it was raining all day, but at least I didn't break any clubs today.  We did however, got a free driver head.  A pretty nice one, worth over $500.  Think I'm gonna bring it to Vancouver.

It was Charlotte's birthday (Ms. Well-Connected in HK).  We got VIP into Backroom, Dragon-I & Fly.  All pretty exclusive clubs in HK, but her parents know all the important ppl.  Mariane & I were both pretty wasted as we did a little pre-drinking.  We eventually caught up Charlotte cuz' it was her birthday, and she HAS to get hammered.

Bought a whole load of pirated DVDs and chilled @ home watching them while spending quality time w/ mom.

Hit up the bank where mom manages all her finances to learn more about the industry w/ her consultant.  The financial sector's a lot more than I expect, a lot more work.  A tad intimidated? Yes.

Chilled @ Marina Club all day, worked out, sauna, jicuzzi, cold pool, everything.  A rather relaxing day I'd say.  I miss hitting up the AMC, too bad my membership expires when I turn 22.  Luckily, Albert's still got 4 more years.

As nightfall came about, it's the weekly Club-ING.  Jam packed, same as 2 years ago when I last went.  Met up w/ Mariane & her British Camp Leader friends, Rich, Matt & usual crew.  Bumped into 2 more old UBC friends which is always nice.

Friday August 1

Met up w/ the old FIS crew after dinner in Happy Valley (quite an effort to get to).  Nice to see the few FIS ppl left: Adam, Venus, Cheryl, Mel & Charles w/ gf.  We seem to always reminisce the highschool days when we all had few worries. 

Adam, Venus & I met some singer randomly @ 7-Eleven afterwards.  She sang @ Key Club w/ her twin sister and she took us there.  Quite the exclusive club, we enjoyed the free drinks and entertainment at no cost.  We even headed to Drop w/ them (another exclusive club), only to not go in cuz' it was dead.  We were invited to go to the last night of Liquid w/ them, only to not be able to reach them the following day.  Quite the disappointment.

Saturday August 2

Hit up the driving range w/ the family.  Good times, since I've never done this w/ the entire family before (normally only w/ dad).  I love golf now especially since dad's been giving me mad tips.  Mom's getting better, she's finally hitting the ball. 

Was about to stay home when Rich called me out.  Ended up a pretty good night.  Finally broke the ice w/ a lot of Rich's HKIS buddies this time.  Hit up Club Mod, then to Dip for some dancing.  Definitely the place to go on Fridays as it was packed w/ models, and beautiful ppl in general.  Bumped into Ed & Ivy, so I bounced over to Drop w/ them where Ivy's hot aunt took us in.  Even more pretty ppl, but a bit of the older crowd.  Saw a couple HK celebrities, which is always a treat.

Sunday August 3

Damn, another family lunch.  One of many this week.  Spent some quality time w/ my little cousin that I rarely ever see.  Feels nice to see him have fun, cuz' his mom's a real bitch.  Worked out w/ bro for nearly 2hrs, doing every possible exercise.  We all even stayed for dinner, which was quite nice.  I always love days @ AMC.

We all rushed home to watch Rabeea & Carrie in the Miss HK beauty pageant .  A couple hotties this year, #2 & #18 from SF & Toronto.  Sorry, Carrie & Rabeea, but I actually think one of them are gonna win this year.  At least they made it to the finals.

17hr flight back to HK! Woo hoo, including a quick stopover @ Tokyo.  Great, looking forward to that, not.

Exhausted getting back, but great to see my parents and bro again, after not having seen them in more than a year.  They took me to get some of HK's finest noodles.  It's great to not be ripped off on great food no more.

Friday July 25

Went shopping w/ my momma.  It's great cuz' she pays for everything, especially since I'm a broke a$$ these days.  I even stocked up on 20 pairs of boxers!  Well needed.  Even got a mobile number.  $18/month for 700mins! Not bad eh?  There's no contract either.

Finally called up everyone I know in HK, but only a couple are in HK.  Damn, was supposed to meet up w/ Helen and friends, but passed out cuz' of jet-lag.

Saturday July 26

Hit up the driving range w/ dad.  Broke two of his golf clubs, both worth over $700.  Damn, I was so surprised he didn't get pissed.  I suppose he was just happy that I went with him in the early morn.  He even went to pick it up @ 12am in the evening when the driving range closed (I didn't go though, cuz' I was out).  Visited my grandma in the new territories for some afternoon tea.  I feel like a giant there as I was taller than 90% of the people in the area.

I even went to church w/ mom for the first time in 2 years.  Though I've forgotten all the Chinese prayers, I just hummed along w/ them, and the songs.  Mom was amused.

Met up w/ Helen & her friends @ night.  Hung out in Causeway Bay for a couple, then to a dead private party for 10mins, then to Lan Kwai to some exclusive-like lounge, and finally to Club-ING for some real fun.  Definitely, tons of hotties.  Didn't know I've been missing so much fun, but mad expensive.  Helen, also constantly reminding me of her $400 phone bill I racked up on her mobile when we were in NY (roaming on her phone), so I had to pay for all her drinks.  Luckily she left for Shanghai the next day

Sunday July 27

Jealous dad got to watch the Liverpool vs. HK game, watched it on TV instead.  6-0 Liverpool, embarassing for HK.  Worked out for the first time in ages, passed out for 10 minutes doing sit-ups. 

Had to head to New Territories to visit my other grandparents for a huge ass family dinner.  Great to see everyone again.  Did I really got chubbier?  Everyone says so.

It's been an insane 2 weeks.

Wednesday July 9

Got into LA @ Andrew's place right in the heart of LA (close to Hollywood, Korea town).  Found out he just bought a brand new bike, and riding it daily without any insurance or even a bike license.  Crazy.  Also found out he's a pothead.  It was then that I knew I was gonna blaze daily while I stayed there.

Andrew's roommate, Fred lost his key and hasn't lived there for a week cuz' Andrew's never home.  First of a few key stories to come.

Watched Pirates of the Carribean @ the Grove.  Since it was right by Hollywood, the theatre was full of gays, hotties, and other eccentric individuals.  We even overhead a black man talk on his mobile speaking fluent Japanese.  Furthermore, there were tons of people watching movies themselves, thinking they would pick up someone there.

Thursday July 10

Watched the lamest Chinese movies from Andrew's collection and hit up Sunset to Saddle Ranch in the evening.  We had this 1L each of LongIsland Icetea, which totally got Andrew hammered.  Being the lightweight he is, I had to take him home and call it a night.

Friday July 11

Andrew's buddy Peter chilled a lot w/ us since he's just been bumming around this summer.  He took me to Long Beach where we checked out a couple summer pro league games (NBA games w/ mostly rookies and prospects).  We saw Wang Zhu Zhu (the China phenomenon) flunk an easy dunk (how embarassing).  Peter even nearly got into a huge accident, which would have fuct Peter over cuz' he did not have insurance on his car.  He drives like a maniac too.  I bumped into Daniel, which is always cool to see old friends.  We called up Michelle for dinner @ Monterey Park (Chinatown).  Hooked up w/ Elsie for some clubbin' action @ Highlands.  Great, another asian night.  I must say, the Vancouver Asians are a lot better looking in comparison.  However, the go-go dancers were unbelievably hot and the club itself is a way nicer than any Vancouver club.  Elsie, bought most our drinks and we felt pretty bad cuz' we should be the ones doing it.  Then again, she does have 3 jobs and SHOULD be mad loaded.  I found out she deals, which totally shocked me. 

That same night, Fred broke his key in the door so we could use our key to get in.  Being only on the 2nd floor, Peter climbed in thru the wonder of the apartment.  Needless to say, Fred was locked out and hung out @ Subway till we got back.

Saturday July 12

Drove an hour to Irvine w/ Andrew to pick up cash from his old roommate Hon for rent and bills, only to come out w/ nothing.  Andrew did come out blazed as hell however.  We hooked up w/ Jen to hit up Century Club (yes, another asian place....damn).  It was basically like a house party w/ multiple rooms and even crazier go-go dancers.  Met up w/ Elsie and her friends, got mad drunk and had a great time once again.  Elsie even made us weed brownies.  They don't really do anything though.

Sunday July 13

Vegas baby! Elsie & Jen's friend Henry (went on Loveboat too) joined Andrew and I for our day trip.  3hr drive in the desert.  Definitely a whole lot hotter than I anticipated.  Andrew's caddie nearly overheated like many other cars that actually did, pulled over to the side trying to cool down.  It was about 40 degrees.  However, pretty psyched once we got there.  First 1 minute, lost $220 on roulette table, then lost another $100 on the next bet.  Down & out, we grabbed some cheap lobster & steak for $10.  Meanwhile, Henry was playing quarter slots (cheap ass!).  Andrew on the other hand, borrowed $300 from me, and ended up losing most of it.  Including a $100 game of BlackJack.  Luckily, right before leaving, I won back $200.  That totally made my day.  I have never been so happy losing money before.  The famous water fountain @ the Bellagio from Ocean's Eleven was definitely impressive.  We ended Vegas w/ a shot of tequila to drown out our losses.

Monday July 14

Hooked up w/ Annie for some yummy Korean food.  She hasn't changed much since Loveboat and acquired a new Lexus IS300, and one of her friends she brought along was quite cute. 

Just when we were about to pass out after a couple hits, Annie drags us out to chill in Korea town.  We hit up Palm Tree for some mad soju drinking where she treated us. We then hit up her former work place, Point, for some Karoake action...and more soju.

Luckily we didn't have to drive.

Tuesday July 15

We chilled @ the farmer's market w/ Jen.  This was the day before the 86 year-old dude ran thru the market killing 9 ppl and injuring 40 others.

Called up tons of people to hit up Rooftop at the Standard.  A rather pimpin' place as it was a bar on a rooftop in downtown LA.  There was a pool, waterbeds, a great view of the city, and mad expensive drinks.  A place I would see on Access Hollywood.  There was even a mini rock'n'roll gathering where we saw girls make out with each other, as well as guys.  It was a good turn out that day as Jen, Annie & bf (former Korean singer Idol), Pon, Daniel, Eileen (from Montreal) all made it.  Peter even got booted out for flicking a cigarette off the building.

Wednesday July 16

Finally did some grocery shopping to save some money, buying mad microvable food.  Andrew deciding he didn't feel like class, we headed down to Irvine again to try to collect some money.

Once we got there, Andrew & Hon had a little money quarrel.  Hon, normally a financial stable kid suddenly in desperate need of money because:  Peter borrowed Hon's car (also without insurance), got hit and run and left Hon paying a $3000 bill out of Hon's own pocket.  In another situation, Hon's current roommate also got screwed.  Living in a $2800/month apartment sharing w/ a roommate, his roommate gets arrested and leaves him paying all the rent.  Thus, we moves out and does not get any of his $2500 security deposit back.  Furthermore, he financed a bike without insurance or license also, loses it because he missed a month payment.  To re-own it, he's had to come up w/ $5000 for insurance.  He does, but the bike was sold already, and the $5000 was not refundable.  Shafted?  Dearly.

We met up w/ Matty later on (just got back from Hawaii)where we drank up a storm.  I passed out, damn aftershock.

Thursday July 17

Met up w/ Angela & Serena @ Melrose to do a little shopping.  Angela, still mad hot decided to buy a t-shirt, where some dude cuts it up while you wear it to make it into a clubbing top.  All for just $90.  Crazy ain't it?  We then meet up w/ Matty, Kay, Michlle, Chris & gf for dinner @ some crazy Italian restaurant.  Pressed for time cuz' we all had to make it to the clubs, we were mad late.  Serena & Angela barely made it to White Lotus (one of the hottest Hollywood clubs at the moment).  We got to Q's @ 12.30 (2.5hrs late) to meet up w/ Jen & Elsie.  We even saw Henry again (seems like we've known that dude forever).

Friday July 18

Aww, my time in LA has passed so quickly.  We met up w/ Serena to take a few hits on her bong, before I departed.  Unfortunately, being a bong rookie, I did WAY too much.  As soon as I got out of the car, I puke for about 5 minutes, and being there 1/2 before departure, I needed assistance.  Luckily I made it on the plane, but high as a kite.

By nightfall, I decided to chill w/ Bernice.  I wanna get back in there.  I had dinner w/ her and her 2 mates (trying to hook them up).  Basically it was a double-date.  We talked about getting together, w/ the only obstacles being me gone for the summer, and her w/ her on/off bf (currently OFF!!).  Hopefully, I'll be successful, cuz' the fortune cookie said as long as I stick with it, I'll be good.

Saturday July 19

Hit up the Bay w/ Alex to get some discounts off Bernice.  40% off, not bad eh?  Though, I bought jeans I did not need, it was just nice to see her in the day for once.

Being the Bacardi Saturday, we could not disappoint.  Henry, Dan, Jason, Steve & I mad pre-drank our 2 bottles of bicardi and hit up Luce's.  We encountered a staggette.  We freaked w/ the bride to-be, paid $10 to spank her, chilled with her friends, bought drinks we did NOT need, and rolled around downtown cuz' we were mad faded.  I didn't even know where my car was in the morning.  That worried me a lot cuz' I had to pick up Aya and drive down to Seattle.

Sunday July 20

Aya & I made it down to Fred's new place in Seattle in good time.  We did a little shopping, hit up the "Bite of Seattle" for some delicious food&drink w/ Fred's hoes, had some damn good crab & oyster and began drinking.  Unfortunately, Aya had to study for her exam Wednesday while all of us played drinking games.  Mariko, Chung, Dave, Irene & Lily came over.  Just realized that this year of mad drinking and smoking has made me dumb & slow. 

Monday July 21

Summer Jam baby!  Featuring 50 cent, Ludracris, Tyrese, Ginuwine, Wayne Wonder, Digital Underground and Fabolous.  Drove 3hrs to the Gorge from Seattle.  Damn, definitely way too hot, but the view was insanely beautiful.  There were 20,000 ppl there, which means the organizers must have made a killing.

Highlights:

-Aya, Mariko, Irene & Lily were in tight, sexy, pink tops which caught a LOT of attention.  Aya & Lily even got to dance on stage w/ 20 other hot ladies w/ digital underground (Greg caught it on tape)

-Aya & Lily disappeared for 5hrs afterwards 

-50 cent was finale and sang ALL his songs (most of which I did not know), and made fun of Ashanti & Ja Rule

-Bumped into Warren, Julie & friends & Greg

-Put on sunscreen 4x and still got burnt (mostly only on 1-side of my body)

-lots of titty flashing, and hot bods.

By far the best concert I've ever been to, and well worth all the driving.

Tuesday July 1

Canada Day baby!  Wow, proud to be Canadian.  2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver/Whistler, whoop! whoop!  More to celebrate about.  Since it was such a beautiful day, we all hit up Spanish Banks for some volleyball action.  We all eventually head to Cfut's place for part 2 of the gathering to BBQ.  We even watched a bit of some mad freakin' DVD from Allister called "Freakfest by 2Live Crew".  Basically, it's about black girls in clubs doing insane freaking.  Gross for girls, great for guys.  Most people left, and Cfut made some of us stay cuz' he wanted to go out.  Well, there was no place to go, so we played a lil mah-jong (just to get Cfut & Denise more quality time to hook-up).

Wednesday July 2

Hung out w/ Robin & her Great Dane @ Kits Beach where everyone stopped us to check out her massive dog.  Haven't seen Robin in a while, she was in great shape as she was training for the marathon coming up.

Found out one of my Aunt's rental property has a couple free bikes for grabs so I brought Robin over to check it out.  She took the woman's one, and I left the man's one cuz' it looked like crap.  We hit up Frog & Firkin for some cheap wings and called up some ppl.  Turns out the guy she's seeing is cousins with my buddy Nick.  Small world.  I even called out Miki & Tammy since I haven't seen them in ages either.

Thursday July 3

Ran around Stanley Park w/ Steve & Ed.  Damn, didn't realize it was 10K.  Though it was hella exhausting, it was well worth it.  My knees were so damn sore afterwards it was unbelievable.

Friday July 4

Chilled w/ Robin again @ UBC to swim.  Didn't realize how out of shape I was till I found out I couldn't even swim 1 length of the pool.  I was well knackered.  I made up for it diving from the 5m & 10m though.

Finally some clubbin' action @ Voda as we all headed down, pre-drank our 1L of Bacardi from Mexico and had a mad freakin' time.  I bumped into mad people I haven't seen in a year, which is always nice.  Then, I find out Felicia just got engaged to be married next year.  Definitely one of my first friends to tie the knot - one of many to come.  Haven't been so wasted in so long.  Lucky my friends took care of me.

Saturday July 5

Enjoying it so much from the previous night, I did it again w/ Jason, Dan, Terence and his Dutch buddies.  We pre-partied and headed up to Element to meet up w/ the rest of them.  Luckily for us, we found a way to sneak in, skipping both cover and line-up.  Jason & Dan even got picked up by a couple caucasian ladies.  Bored after an hour, we bounced over to Luce's for more action.  We walked 1/2 hr to get to some Chinese place downtown, but ditched it cuz' it was a minimum of $10/person.  Yes, what a rip.  Pizza's only $1/slice.

Sunday July 6

Hung out w/ Aya @ the beach.  Damn, looking so fine.  Haven't seen her in ages.  She broke up w/ her bf in Australia (GOOD!), but kinda seeing long-distance some rich 30 year-old volleyball freak (BAD!).  Oh well, we bumped into Min @ Gelato, where he totally hooked us up.

By nightfall, I rushed over to Ken's place for his BBQ.  A nice change from my normal hangout w/ all Asians.  Full of my highschool buds, a couple Asian hotties, lots of steaks & beer, needless to say,I well enjoyed it. 

Monday July 7

Spent all day to organize dinner w/ Highschool buddies but failed miserably.  I ended up eating with only Ian & Angus, mostly cuz' I don't have mobile.

Afterwards, I met up w/ my old College Pro crew for a beer @ Frog & Firkin once again.  Great laughs about painting experiences and such.  I miss those days, the money, but not the work.

Unwilling to sleep, called over Steve & Alex for a little shit talking.  Always a laugh as there is so much gossip going around these days.

Tuesday July 8

Absolutely exhausted from sleeping @ 5am the previous night, I managed to hook up w/ Aya to do the crazy Grouse Grind - hiking up a steep a$$ mountain.  Damn exhausting as it took us over an hour to conquer the feat.  Well worth it however, as the feeling once up top was un-describable.

Met up w/ everyone @ Joey Tomatos (all the way out in Boonie land) for a wicked meal.  Great waitresses, food, great turn-up, good times.  Meanwhile, everyone gave me shit for not telling them who my mystery date was.  Then, I had to jet over to pick up Bernice and go for a couple drinks.  Still, stunning as usual, found out she's on/off w/ her bf.  Great for me, considering our history.  Definitely someone to look forward to in September.

Time to pack, going to LA tmr!  Should be wicked.
